Author Biography: Angela “Wndy Brz” Cooper

Angela Cooper known to the creative world as Wndy Brz is an Original Hair Braider of 30 plus years, Recording Artist, and the Aurthor of Cell Therapy The Sovereignty of The Word.

Her journey is one of profound transformation rooted in 30 plus year legacy cultivated consciousness and creativity. Angela’s true spiritual shift began in the end of 96 into 1997 when she did her “big chop” from her relaxer to her natural hair. A transition that sparked a conscious awakening that deepend when she learned she had fibroids. This catapulted her journey into the alchemy state in yearning for more information for natural healing.

In 2001 she engaged herself in the book “Sacred Woman” where now her inner world was projecting herself differently. Everything she wore ate thought had totally changed, adding on to her inner growth journey of self-love. She grew her then afro into locs for twenty years. During these decades at the chair her role evolved. She wasn’t just braiding she was providing counseling to women who sat with her. As she learned more about fibroids, yoga, meditation, breathing techniques, and the discipline of “rewriting your thoughts” she became an informal therapist, helping clients navigate their inner world while she tended to their outer beauty.

While pouring into the women in her community Angela was also crafting a musical legacy under the name Wndy Brz. Her love is writing, so in 2005 she brought her music and poetry to the mic blending dope beats with messages of love relationships and empowerment. Her journey as a solo artist led her to SXSW stage in 2016 and again in 2026. She was officially crowned “The First Lady of Elevated Music” in 2018.

Today Angela Cooper has translated decades of coaching and counseling into her ground breaking book “Cell Therapy The Sovereignty of The Word”. This work moves beyond the mental and spiritual diving into the biological connection between our thoughts and our bodies. Cell Therapy is a culmination of a journey that began with a pair of hands and a head of hair evolving into a global mission to teach healing and unifacation.
